Senior Brand Manager
We have a unique opportunity to join our team as a Sr Brand Manager.  Our company is a privately held, family friendly culture with over 50 years of experience serving our customers.  We provide high quality packaged food to the retail, food service and contract packaging markets. Our retail brand has been consistently growing for nearly 2 decades and we are searching for a Marketing Leader to help us continue to propel our company forward in the CPG industry.

Job Summary:
The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with the companys goals by maximizing long term profitability and brand share. He or she will build integrated portfolio marketing plans, support new product development and execute the annual brand plan. This includes strategic planning, consumer research and analysis, development of marketing materials, field communication and measurement of results.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing from a four-year college or university is required.  An MBA is preferred.
5+ years Brand Management experience in Food Consumer Packaged Goods is required.
High degree of competency with IRI/Nielsen data is required.
Demonstrated experience with the Stage Gate process
Outstanding organization skills to ensure tight deadlines are met both internally and externally
Excellent communication skills, including written and presentation skills
Comfortable in a highly entrepreneurial environment and willing to roll up the sleeves to do whatever it takes to complete the task
Understanding of Brand Marketing strategy with knowledge of media, custom research, shopper behavior and new product development is required.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Marketing Plan Development
Develop annual brand plan and manage brand strategy to build velocity and share.
Develop growth targets, business objectives and brand strategies which align with the annual budget.
Analyzes consumer and category trends to best position brand for success
Review customer-specific trade plans and provides feedback on consistency with brand plan.
Support cross-functional project teams in the execution of annual brand plans
Contribute to activation of the brand plan by launching integrated marketing campaigns with activation across the marketing mix
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop brand-building programs
Product line management and day to day project management of near-in innovation
Analyze new product launches and promotions against set objectives and pursue path to optimization without significant guidance or supervision.
